Thoughts for now.

I've been spending time understanding the general product-oriented community's obsession with bridging design and development. Every designer is attempting to become a design engineer, but is that the right direction to pursue? There is truth to the desire to leverage new technology. There is also truth to having the technology serve you when it should.

As a product designer, I'd rather focus on the humans, the judgement, and the strategy of how people interface with each other, themselves, and technology. Of course, with artificial intelligence.
